Alissa is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who completed her Postgraduate Diploma of Exercise Rehabilitation at the University of Western Australia (UWA).
Her primary interest is chronic conditions, specifically the role exercise can play in the care and management of chronic illness. She has a special interest in working with people to help them make sustainable, long-term lifestyle changes to improve their physical health. Having worked in both adult and youth populations, she understands that everyone is different, requiring individual programs tailored to their specific goals.
Alissa also has extensive experience working in paediatric and youth populations, including individuals with chronic illness, neurological deficits, addiction and substance dependence, mental health issues, musculoskeletal conditions, cardiovascular complications and metabolic conditions.
